"I am finally proud to announce A BRAND NEW LOOP TYING SYSTEM from miracle wood worker Sebashtion Houston (maker of the Justin Miller line of close-up tables) called The "Trinity Loop System". This is a hand-made, one of a kind, LOOP tying system that will not only make it SUPER easy to tie a loop (any size) but after about 5 minutes of practice you will be tying a LOOP in 10 seconds or less! Trinity comes with a custom made system, and instructional DVD with 2 bonus LOOP effects by me. Justin N. Miller I have had Sebashtion's system now for about a week and a half. It took me about 10 minutes to go through Sebashtion's rough draft of his instructional DVD and a phone call because I am incredibly slow sometimes =). I have been working with Loops and IET for quite a bit now and have always struggled with the best way to tie loops off using both Yigal's Elastics and the Infinity thread. Even when I was able to tie a loop off it was cumbersome at best and time consuming. I got two spools of Legacy thread in the mail yesterday (thanks Sebashtion) so although I haven't had long to play with it this is by far the strongest thread I have ever used. I made a l##p (sorry yigal), and had it attached to a sharpie to test the strength of the thread. While it was floating my four year old nephew grabs the sharpie and runs away, but instead of breaking it stretches about 3 feet and then snaps back onto my wrist, any other thread I know of would have snapped.This thread can take a beating. (so far I have not had any breakage)
I was using infinity, but now I'm switching to legacy. With infinity thread I have a small fear of the loop or hook up breaking after performing a few times, but I think Legacy can withstand as many performances as I want to do.

My final thoughts, It's the strongest thread I have ever seen, but it's also invisible to the naked eye. I love it,i'm gonna be doing a lot more thread work. It's like the IET your using now...only it's stronger, has a better elasticity, and it has a cooler name...

Legacy...it's the beast of the thread world.

I finally got my trinity system and was "spoiled" with a spool of stripped Legacy Thread to try it out. The Trinity System has been reviewed over and over again, it is a great device, it helps getting the job right for the clumsy ones (me!) Sebashtion mentions on the dvd that someone didn't like the color of the system, I have to agree with that person for ONE reason, a white finish would've been easier for the eyes to see the thread, that's about the only downside to it.

As for the tying process, if you can count to 10, you can tie it. The first couple of tries took me a few minutes just to get the tension and length right, after that the system itself became a measuring unit for me, whoever has the DVD will know what I mean.

There are 1001 ways out there to tie wrist hoops, and again, for someone like me who has trouble tying them and always ends up with "afro hair" like wrist hoops, this system helps a lot. I am finally able to tie wrist hoops/loops/bands/circles that fit MY wrist with no afro hair on it! This is one of the greatest advantages for me!

Amateur or a professional, it will save time and cost. For the dvd content, it's all clear, detailed, everything has been covered and credited.

Now, for the Legacy thread. SO FAR (I am still in the process of trying various settings/routines to test it out) It is hands down stronger, sturdier from what is available out there, stretches even more than the rest without losing tension.

To be fair, I tied loops using Mesika's Elastic thread and Legacy Thread, here's the verdict:
Haunted deck looks more stable (5-6 times using the same band of Legacy Thread, didn't break yet, 3 runs with Mesika's and ADIEU!),
VCR: 9 runs (I am baffled) with Legacy, 4 runs with Mesika's

Now out of the LOOP context:
Poker chips slides faster, boomerang card routine works flawlessly (Yes Yigal provides another type of elastics with the instructions, I just used the Legacy Thread, a few tries so far and it didn't break and didn't cut thru the wax BUT I am using two strands and it still is invisible)

As with anything and everything, it all comes down to your personal preferences, in a head to head comparison the Legacy Thread is my weapon of choice. And this is coming from an amateur. --PKG

Bob was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama and has always called it home from
where ever he might have been at the time. Although he was raised as a cowboy, his
mother, a singer/dancer, always encouraged him to pursue the entertainment business. By
age thirteen he had a personal manager, agent and contract with a major movie/recording
company. He was already performing in theaters and on stage as a professional musician
with recording artists and movie stars. Upon going off to college at the University
of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Bob started American Artists Enterprises as a personal
management and booking agency for professional entertainers and a firm that traded and
negotiated recording contracts. It had offices in Tuscaloosa and New York. Uniquely, it
was also the largest agency in the USA handling live entertainment for shopping centers
and malls. Over 542 malls and shopping centers bought their live entertainment though
AAE. That kept a lot of magicians and variety acts working.

At college graduation, Bob had service in the US Navy ahead of him, so he sold
American Artists Enterprises and had to leave the world of commercial music forever.
He went exclusively into the magic he had begun at age sixteen. In 1969, following the
advice of other professional entertainer friends and to give privacy, he began working
professionally as Magic By Sander. In his fifty-something years in the business, Bob has
performed stage shows in theaters, hotels, fairs, conventions and ballrooms around the
country. He also has decades of experience in fundraisers, trade shows and sponsored
corporate magic as well as talent in television commercials. His corporate clients have
included the world’s largest private daycare provider, the most profitable brewing
company in America, some of the largest consumer electronics firms in the world, the
largest shopping mall management firm in the USA, the nations largest retailer, major
advertising agencies, several leaders of the computer/information industry, medical care
providers and communications firms. He has turned down invitations to perform for
Worldwide Magical Congresses in Mexico City and Calcutta, India.

Bob has been active in magical fraternal and professional organizations since the 1960s.
Those include the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American
Magicians and the secretive Wizards of the Ozarks (professional magicians of the West
and Midwest), which elected him Magicians’ Magician of the Year 1981-82. During
that period he was doing over 200 stage shows a year, working on a Ph.D. in marketing,
management, and finance; and caring for his infant son on the road with him. He has
held offices in all of the major magical organizations. In the 80s he was responsible for
transferring part of SAM’s film library to VHS tape.

Among magicians he is best known for dove magic. Perhaps that is because he is the
originator of Dove Hotline on the Internet and he wrote it for over twelve years. Tony
Clark handled it for a couple of years while Bob worked on a couple of books. Bob
returned to writing Dove Hotline in March 2006. Bob is on staff at The Magic Café. He
also posts on PMZZ, KIDabra and the Genii forum.

In recent years, his work with high quality props in Silk and Egg magic have brought
international attention. His Silks and Eggs props are used worldwide by professional
magicians. One of his best kept secrets was only put on the market in the last few
years. That is Bob’s Walk-Around Silk to Egg routine. It resets and can be performed
repeatedly as the entertainer moves from table to table at the venue. Traditionally,
Silk to Egg routines could never be repeated without a considerable resetting of props
requirement.

Aside from magic, Bob is a published university professor, registered lobbyist, marketing
and management consultant to publicly traded corporations, entrepreneur, importer, and
has served on the corporate boards of directors of national and international corporations.
He is the magicians’ silk importer. He is married to Lucy Collins, MD, former ballet
dancer and model from New York and Los Angeles, and stage magician who performs
both with Bob and in her own shows. Lucy has a grown son in Los Angeles and Bob has
an adult son in Birmingham, Alabama and a daughter in Wyoming who trains horses and
dances with a Colorado Ballet Company. Bob and Lucy live with their many animals
(horses, goats, donkeys, doves, ducks and geese, and dogs) on Magic Valley Ranch in
Clanton, Alabama near Lucy’s rural medical clinic where she enjoys her dream of being a
country doctor.

The Society of Young Magicians will begin meeting on the second Saturday each month at 9am, beginning in May.

The Fellowship of Christian Magicians will begin meeting the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
